The Broad Side of a Barn
Over the past couple of years as I wander the streets and alleys of the town I live in, I began finding simple structures which interested me. Not the structure themselves, not in the usual way, where one visualizes all three dimensions. There is something about the 'elevation' of certain structures which pleases me. The main, flat side... squared up in the frame and presented directly and honestly. It's a bit like those little wooden cutouts one might find in a gift shop of the famous buildings found in a town. I've snapped a number of these. Garages, houses, out-buildings, utility buildings, and the like. Here are a few.
